Zalman King is one of the most musically eclectic people I know. He literally gets physically ill if something sounds too mainstream or conventional, so working with him gave me a lot of chances to explore the dark under-belly of musical possibility. For the series, they would send me scripts, I'd go in and record without picture, and they'd edit to the music.
