For director Peter Markle's wonderful film starring Daryl Hannah as a porn star with a heart of gold and Dennis Hopper as a low rent mafia "go-fer", I took a jazzy 60's approach, but along with vibes, harmon mute trumpet, piano, bass, and drums, I used bongos, bass clarinet, and string orchestra. It was upon hearing this score that I was called in to meet on the first Austin Powers film.
