Dennis Dugan's direction on this film really shows off Chris Farley's comic genius. Dennis is also a very funny man. At one point during the scoring sessions he asked if the orchestra could play any louder. I said, "They're already playing fortissimo." He smiled and replied, "Then tell them to play five-tissimo."
