44 Minutes (2003)
"44 Minutes" was a unique and intense experience for me. It offered me the opportunity to work again with director Yves Simoneau and to create in a style and with a palette that I enjoy, but rarely get a chance to explore. The subject matter required that the music be edgy and tense, so I used a lot of processed guitars and percussion loops. Since one of the villains was Eastern European, the only "organic" sound in the score is an Eastern European female voice.
