He is also currently working on Ray Costa's moving documentary, Hometown Glory.

George returned to MTSU in Tennessee (his alma-mater) to be Grand Marshall in the 2009 Homecoming parade.

George will receive The Spirit of Tennessee Award in Nashville honoring his career and accomplishments.
June 24th, 2009
George returned from a fun and successful week in New Orleans where he recorded the score to Extract. Great experience.
June 16th, 2009
George finished recording and mixing the score to Tooth Fairy. He considers it one of his best scores yet.
January 3rd, 2009
George will begin the new year scoring Mike Judge's new movie Extract. He is a big fan of Judge's work on Beavis and Butthead as well as King of the Hill and Idiocracy.
Next in line is Michael Lembeck's Tooth Fairy. George scored The Santa Clause 2 & 3 for Lembeck and is looking forward to teaming up again.

George took the summer off to spend time with his daughter Jessica before she went off to college. In September his musical That Other Woman's Child, written with long time friend Sherry Landrum, was presented as part of the New York New Musicals Festival to great acclaim. He recently completed pre-records for a Fox film which he will score after the first of the year. More about that later!
